God You satisfy the soul.

On the 22Dec Chinelle and I spoke to Frans letting him know of our intent and desire
to join Baxter as our home and to serve there in ministry part time.

I cannot believe that the passion to make an impact in people's lives has got me this far! It's like God answered my prayer before I even asked. While I struggled to articulate what the desire mean, He's been revealing to me how and where I can get involved. He's been revealing to me what He put in me- the passions and talents, and how He wants to use those for His purposes. And, the way He did it it's like now those desires are my life's desires, so when He says to me 'go' it doesn't feel like i'm being sent where I don't want to go, it's like 'wow, You want me to do that for You, what an honour and of course yes!'

It's only when I stop to think 'me, in ministry?' does it dawn on me that wait a minute this sounds
crazy but is so fulfilling. It's the same feeling I have while being in band- everyday i'm like 'this is
insane.', but it's too fulfilling I wouldn't be anywhere else.

Now we walk the hard, exciting, fulfilling and dangerous road. I never knew
this is what 2010 would mean for me!

God, you satisfy my spirit and my soul.

Ephesians 3:16-17, 19
"I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith."
v19b "...that you may be filled to the measure of all the fulness of God."

Worship Strat Plan

Taking woship to the next level! This was the strat plan meeting where
the vision and heart for worship @ HP Baxter for 2010 was
formulated/given/shared and/or developed.

There's a huge sense of expectation for growth and for what God will do next year!
Ya ne, me in band... who would have thought...

Campus Leaders' summit

Staying in a place with views like this, there's no way you Strat Plan
Summit won't work:)
Spending 5 days with guys from accross southern africa who are literally
spending all the life changing the world was jaw dropping awesome! These
are the guys in full-time campus ministry who've dedicated their lives to
reach the students with the vision that says: universities are where
tomorrow's leaders are shaped and if we can reach them in these crucial 4
to 5years of their campus lives, it will go a long way to reach the
nations.

While this was time set apart to plan the next
year, for most of them it was time out for what's been a tough but
fulfilling year walking with students, running church, etc

Andrew, my boss, presenting the work him & I do and how it can be of benefit to the guys, their teams and their churches. Exciting stuff!!

That's websites that are linked to one another and a financial management/contacts anagement system!

Senior leadership guys like Roger, Simon, Ps Gillian came over and shared words - it was gr8!
One of the best things that happened was just simply building relationships!

For me having met most of the guys I actually serve in the office encouraged me to realise that we actually make a difference and sparked a flame in me to wanna make a difference in my campus!
What's a time away with many black guys without a good game of soccer?

Camp Response

Probably the best camp I went to!
There's nothing like getting to a place thinking you know what's about to happen and having your mind blown to pieces because you had but a fraction of an idea of what would happen...

Biggest Highlights:
- Great teachings on family & discipleship,
- Great revelations from God about my life & desires for my life,
- Seeing guys getting inspired and their lives changed before my eyes was Tight!!
- Getting an increased passion for to reach campus and this not just for the sake of reaching it but to walk with men help establish peeps in their faith, beliefs & convictions about God and getting them to realise their purpose and to start walking in it. (I truly don't know wot I could possibly do that would be better than that)

The worship was off the hook! I have officially never screamed like that or heard louder screams than wot I heard that weekend!
William (on keyboard above) wrote a song whose every sentence described excatly wot God's been doing in the church at the moment- that was awesome!
Then, of course, there was the open dance 'circle' (shown above). Big ups Baxter Peeps!!!
Acts 1:8 "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses ...to the ends of the earth."
If we expect this from Him, He can't not show up.
