I was blessed to have a friend of mine’s camera to take these shots & be the un-official Campus Harvest photographer…thanks Miemie :)

Worship

The worship was deep as we all cried out to God that we may live for Him

Impartation

Pastors such as Rice Broocks (below) were there to bring  the word of the Lord.

Ps Rice Broocks is the co-founder of Every Nation ministries that His People belongs to. It’s one thing having good programs and speakers, but to sit there and hear the prophetic word of God for the campus and seeing hundreds respond to God’s call was just too amazing.

Rice Broocks 2Another key speaker was Gordon Dalbey who is like a father in the faith. His word brought such healing to many there.  IMG_2656

Miracles

Many people received physical body healing after Ps Themba Malaba of the Joburg church came on stage and prayed for healing .

God’s power was again evident when students laid hands on a man who was paralyzed waist down from a car accident, we saw him take his first steps!! We are trusting God that he’ll receive complete healing.

Fun times

We had a variety show where guys just let rip their talents for God! From songs, dancing, hip-hop, ballet to drama to poetry it's a joy to find freedom to be oneself in the house of God.

Conclusion

The theme of the camp was: A generation outrageously devoted to God. And, this was true – part of spending a weekend with students from across the continent who are passionate about God  just helps paint the picture that Campus Ministry’s reach is far beyond what we can imagine! Thousands of families represented here are being blessed by what God started or confirmed during this Holy Spirit filled encounter.

Campus Harvest Staff Report

All of the 100 plus full time campus ministers came in 3 days before the students. We heard testimonies of what God’s doing in each our lives and in our service in ministry.

Botswana

Stories of how for example Drikus Louw laboured for years
in Botswana without seeing any growth in the campus ministry
there but he pressed on until now where the fruits are starting to
show. The campus ministry there is growing and they brought
some of the students to Campus Harvest.

Namibia

Another testimony was from Hilma who’s heading the  campus ministry in Namibia. They’ve also struggled to have growth as the students there are generally speaking not committed to one cause only. She laboured on and now they have about 60 students actively serving God by heading up cell groups, worship, evangelism & out reaches! They brought most of those students to Campus Harvest!

Impartation to Campus Leaders

Pastor Rice Broocks (co-founder of Every Nation ministries) came and shared some of his 33 years of experience with us bringing God’s word to us to keep us going as we aim to reach every nation through reaching every campus!

Rice Broocks

We also had Pastor Andrew Gosman, his wife & his team giving prophecies over each and every ministert there! That was a powerful moment as God confirmed His work in all of us individually!

Prochecying

God is amazing! Without knowing any of our experiences or hopes in God, this team managed to accurately confirm what God has been stirring in our hearts.

Here Chinelle & I are receiving a prophecy from Ps Themba & Amy Malaba, and again it was spot on. It great to know that for all of us as His children God

P1110928
affirms us as sons & daughters even before we do anything for Him. God came upon Christ after He got baptised saying “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:17. God said this to Jesus before Jesus had done one miracle. Receive it for yourself too.

New Church/Campus Ministry Plant

Here Ben Schoeman showed a diagram of the major learning centres of Africa. The green countries are countries where we’ve planted a campus ministry.

Last year Bloemfontein, Swaziland & Lesotho were earmarked as places where we trust God to plant churches/campus ministries.

Ben Schoeman

It’s awesome to hear that this is already happening!

Jampie van Aarde heads the team that stepped into Bloemfontein and have started a campus ministry there and it’s already growing.

Thabiso heads up the Swaziland plant.

Ps Wolfgang Beyer also gave feedback on the Lesotho church plant that’s already happening.

During the camp
During the camp the we had speakers such as Rice Broocks, Frans Olivier and Gordon Dalbeya. I believe many students met with their destinies as they realise that God has a heart for the lost. This was one of the unique camps where we received a huge deposit in our hearts but we know that it wasn’t about the camp – God intends for us to come back and be the difference on our campuses.

Ps Rice Broocks did an altar call, which he mentioned wasn’t necessarily for people who are not saved, but for people who wanted to repent before God for not living wholly for Him. They went to the altar to make a stand that they would not go back to the lives they lived before and that this would be the last altar call they ever need to respond to.

This is a generation Outrageously Devoted to God! Check out Campus Harvest in pictures here!

I’ve just returned from a weekend camp where 1500 from universities across Southern Africa came together and got inspired to find their calling/purpose in life and to do it!

Devoutrageous!

The motive is simple: the culture of the youth today is society’s culture in 10 years! Change the campus, change the nation!
